MR PETER B MYLES

Born in Ndola, Zambia, Peter Myles has traveled, lived and worked in many different parts of Africa. He has worked as a corporate marketing executive in four major industries namely agriculture, textiles, sportswear and pharmaceuticals. In 1977 he received the Raymond Ackerman Award from the Institute of Marketing Management for his thesis on free enterprise. He matriculated at Rondebosch Boys' High School in the Western Cape Province of South Africa where he was Head Prefect in 1959 and represented the school at rugby, athletics and swimming. He has lived and worked in Port Elizabeth since 1982 and is married to Bronwen. They have three adult children and five grandchildren.

DR ANTHONY ALBERS

Anthony Albers was born in Pretoria, South Africa. He completed his formal education at the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, where he obtained a PhD degree in Physics in 1994.

Anthony is the CEO and founder of Kyle Business Projects, which undertakes a range of tourism development and strategy projects in South Africa.

The primary business focus of Kyle Business Projects is the application of project management principles to the planning, execution, monitoring and successful completion of business projects. Business projects are normally defined as programs of activities or actions which fall outside normal business operations, and include such activities as strategy development, new business and new facility establishment, business expansion, business system design and implementation, business process streamlining and reengineering, new customer targeting and acquisition, business planning, and corrective actions addressing the resolution of business problems.

In the course of his professional career, Dr Albers has built considerable experience including business experience in strategy, finance, marketing, re-engineering, problem resolution, and technical development; experience in the management of projects in technical and scientific fields; experience in the application of scientific techniques to the resolution of business problems; evaluation and development of operational procedures; business viability and financial modeling. This experience is drawn from a number of sectors of the economy, including tourism, manufacturing, agriculture and agri-processing, and construction.
